The ‘Meeting of Minds’ is an initiative to create a congregation of like-minded people and send across their views to the world via the forum of media! On the 15th of October, India's most promising young minds and youth leaders will come together to understand and discuss the intricacies and challenges facing us in building India's future:

  •  Jeroninio (Jerry) Almeida is Chief Executive and Director, International Fundraising, of ActionAid India Society, and Founder and Executive Director (Emeritus), I-CONGO (Indian Confederation of NGOs), has obliged to chair the ‘Meeting of Minds’. Jerry is a Serial Entrepreneur who has been instrumental in initiating he way in which an underprivileged child’s growth and health is looked at. In 2004 he founded iCONGO – Indian Confederation of NGOs to reclaim and preserve public trust in the people sector. He currently serves with iCONGO as “JUST ANOTHER VOLUNTEER” and uses all his learning & experience over the years to create cutting edge social change! He has also ideated and pioneered movements like “The Joy of Giving”, “Right every WRONG” and “Karmaveer awards”

  •  Ishita Chaudhry, the Founder & CEO of The YP Foundation (TYPF).has been a pioneer in youth oriented developmental programmes. She reaches out to almost 300,000 people via her work in the field of health, education, leadership programmes and awareness drives for understanding sexuality better! She too would be engaging with the participants of th ‘Meeting of Minds’. Her experience and understanding of the pitfalls of our society would be imperative before embarking upon a change within ourselves!

  • Shiv Bhaskar Dravid, the Founder & CEO of The Viewspaper is a pioneer in engaging with the youth in a huge way and spelling out their views/thoughts/opinions/grievances via the medium of internet! The viewspaper.net has won several accolades including the latest at the World Summit Youth Award! He too would expound upon how he went ahead with such an unusual venture and how he was successful in the same!

  •  Rustam Sengupta - Every drop makes a difference’! That’s the motto which the ‘Boondh’ organization abides by. The Founder of this organization, Mr Sengupta, would be enlightening the audience with the ways in which energy can be stored renewed and used more efficiently! The nation undoubtedly needs such initiatives and awareness about them too!

  •  Ravi Gulati - An IIM-A graduate, Ravi Gulati, began working with the young children after a certain understanding of the Society and the psychology of the child vis-à-vis the same! He spearheads ‘Manzil’, an NGO which provides free and quality educational support to children living in and around Khan Market. His insights on the Education system of t he Country would be valued greatly!

  • Dilip Chenoy - The Chief executive Officer and Managing Director of The National Skill Development Corporation (NDSC) The NDSC is a unique organization which looks at mobilizing and organizing the seemingly ‘un-organised’ sector of the market! It looks at giving the Labour Market a certain Identity and understanding to work efficiently! Mr. Chenoy’s words of wisdom would be impossible to be dis-regard!

  • Swati Maliwal and Sidharth Jatar - members of India Against Corruption would give their views on the way the Youth of this nation can bring about a change in the Corrupt policies of the Government! Both were closely involved in the Anna agitation and are amongst the few who are still actively working towards a smooth functioning of the Bill!

Join us to discuss “Power of Young India”,

The task of understanding the path of India’s Youth in the coming years presents a multi-dimensional issue. The Event will feature Speakers from diverse walks of life to spell out their opinion on the following topics of discussion:

  •     Young India: Proudly Indian Global Vision
  •     Young India: Empowerment
  •     Young India: Fighting Corruption

The three tracks we have chosen are issues that lack proper implementation in India.

Each of these discussions will be taped and released on ViewsTV.com and www.theviewspaper.net which is India's largest youth paper.

It would be interesting to hear diverse perspectives! As a result of which, we extend an invitation to you, your presence would be highly appreciated! What you take home would not only be a great experience, but also a priceless perspective makeover.

Be an Inspired Leader > Join us > Make an impact.

We look forward to seeing you there.
